New Blog site and site updates coming this week

Hey all,
I know it's been sparse out of me. However with that I bring news.
Along with a full sweep of my website content which is coming very very soon; a new blog site I have been working on is going to be launched here this week. Which means that this current blog url will be left to be alone and unused.

The new blog site is quite cool. It will allow facebook connect integration, meaning you can sign in with your facebook account and leave comments, you can send blogs to your newsfeed, you can invite friends...(which I may just have some rewards for.) The blog will also feature some new nifty things that not many people offer on their blogs.

In addition I am currently working on a project that will allow you brides and grooms to post your photos to your facebook, flickr, myspace and twitter accounts with one click, and it will be completely free to use. Pretty cool!

Lastly, when I launch the new blog I will be running my first mobile/web sweepstakes. So stay tuned to find out what it is!

Happy New Years and Jamey Johnson

Happy New Years everyone. The past month has been filled with family and travel and wonderful things like naps. But now it's back to work and things have been really picking up nicely.

Just before the holidays I had the wonderful opportunity to travel with 3 time 2009 Grammy nominated Jamey Johnson and his band down to Florida. The guys are nothing but amazing (if I had a better word for amazing I would use it.) If you don't know Jamey or any of his music you need to check him out at http://www.jameyjohnson.com. If there were ever a person you could say could be the next Hank Williams, Willie Nelson or Waylon Jennings this is your man.

Anyways, I know it isn't wedding related however I like to diversify myself as much as possible. Here are some shots from the shows... I tried to give the photos an authentic and aged feel with a new 2009 look. In other words trying to recreate the feel his music brings.

Hope you enjoy.

New Logo!

It's been too long, I know.
I have been gearing up for the holidays and getting ready for an incredible start to 2009.

I have created a new logo for the company as my last one was quick and gritty. I wanted to take some time on this one and find something that could be used to actually brand the company instead of look like everyone else's.

After about 8 different designs I decided on this one. The reason is that it isn't cheesy or cliche, it's simple yet stands out as attractive, new and a bit edgy.

I know that the shutter thing is over done. But ya know... I kinda like it... So there!

Have a look! Let me know what you think!

Turkey Day

Well I do have more weddings to post here, but I thought I'd have a little fun today and post funny pictures I've found on the internet of Turkeys. They've given me some creative ideas which I plan on coming up with while I'm stuffed to the max from overeating.

I hope everyone enjoys their holiday and to give thanks where thanks are do. I know I'm Thankful that I have a wonderful, beautiful and loving fiance. I'm thankful that I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people this past year. I'm thankful that Zach and Jody Gray have become good friends and took me under their wings to teach me how to become an incredible photographer, (They are truly amazing people and I can't thank them enough.)

Lastly, I am thankful for the internet for giving me these wonderful turkey images.

Natalie and Phil

Several weeks ago, Debbie at Old Natchez Country Club allowed me to shoot a reception for this lovely couple; alongside a wonderful photographer who also allowed me to shoot (As soon as I get her info I will let you know.)

Phil and Natalie were meant to be together, the joy, the emotion and the love that was in that room was outstanding. And boy can they dance!

Here are some shots from that night, thanks to all involved!

Bethany and Tony

This past weekend I got to hang with my new friends Bethany and Tony. Two up and coming lawyers who will soon be (both) living in Nashville. We had such a good time hanging out at their favorite bar in East Nashville and various places around the city. They are such an amazing couple, and they look quite amazing together as well.

Have a look at some of the shots!

Wow so busy

I have been doing quite a bit lately. Time always seem so hard to come by. However this weekend I will be posting all the recent shoots. Phil and Natalie, Melissa and James, Bethany and Tony and a few more!

Hope everyone is well!
